To Leavenworth Community from Jessica Evans:

” My message to the community via you is a thank you from our group. We were astonished and warmed by how many people showed up to assist. We loved the route and our time in Leavenworth. Amy loved her last pitch (we started our descent from that anchor) and she led it in style.

Thank you to John Race, first to join us on the scene and to his family - he was called away during dinner. Jonah Manning stopped to talk with us on our hike out and we were warmed by his presence. His wife Annie Manning met us in the parking lot and gave us beer and listened to our story, relating and representing the local climbing community to us. The sheriff’s office was so professional and caring and I’m impressed with the accuracy of the reports I’ve seen as I was concerned … When non climbers write about climbing it often comes out wrong.

Love to the Leavenworth climbing community from the Squamish climbing community.”
